A Feast on Labor Day!
Posted on September 2, 2010 · Leave a CommentThis year my plans are changing for the Labor Day weekend. My friends and I usually go out for Labor Day…we’ll spend the day out on a patio restaurant and enjoy the good weather. This year we’re staying in and (drum roll) cooking!
We all know that a Labor Day without good food isn’t a Labor Day at all. This year we’re making a feast…or at least tempting to! Each of us is bringing an item for the meal and when we all get to my apartment at The Village at McNair Farms we’re going to make it happen! We even have a menu and everything!
What are you planning for Labor Day?
and for dessert:
A Bathroom Recipe!
Posted on August 27, 2010 · Leave a CommentI would have to say that the bathroom is one of my favorite places. Why? Well it’s a place where I get to relax. I’ve set me bathroom up for relaxation, after a hard week I like to soak and just rest.
How did I do it? I have the greatest Bathroom recipe for relaxation!
5-25 Gallons of a Healthy Shower or Bath
Nothing can be more relaxing than hot water pouring over your body. Sometimes it is assumed that a bath is the only way to relax, but some people can truly relax in a hot steamy shower.
3 Large or 10 Small Candles (with or without aroma)
Being surrounded by the warm glow of candles always creates a sense of calm and relaxation. A bathroom will look great illuminated by the flame of a candle (that goes with any room).
1 Infusion of Soft Music
Select music that will calm you and bring you to a place of solace. Instrumentals are a suggestion but whatever calms and relaxes you is a must play.
An Ice Cold…

Let’s Please your Palette!
Posted on August 4, 2010 · Leave a CommentWhat do you think of when someone mentions Italian Food? You should be thinking of San Vito Ristorante Italiano! Not only do they provide the best Italian food experience but their kind service and great atmosphere will make you a loyal customer.
San Vito has two locations, one right here in Herndon and the other in Springfield. If haven’t yet visited you’ll be impressed by the originality and authenticity of this restaurant. Personally I think it might be the fact that it’s family-owned and that they hail from Italy. Having an executive chef who knows his way around the kitchen and Italy really helps.
Whether its to snack on one of our exquisite appetizers or simply savouring a delicious meal, spiced to your liking, San Vito Restaurant is a sure hit to please anyone’s palette.
